Bio: LISA HÜRTGEN was born in Düsseldorf in 1995. She studied at MET Filmschool London and has been studying Directing at the German Film and Television Academy Berlin (DFFB) since 2016. Among others, she directed the short films HERE, FOR YOU (HIER, FÜR DICH, 2021) and SWIMMING LESSON (SCHWIMMSTUNDE, 2022) and the Ghanaian-German web series TALES FROM THE BLUE BUS for ARTE (2020). In 2022 she was 3rd assistant director for the feature WHEN WILL IT BE AGAIN LIKE IT NEVER WAS BEFORE by Sonja Heiss and in 2023 1st AD for Aleksandra Odić’s feature debut FILO. Currently she is working on her own first feature SHITTY PLANETS.
