Bio: Since their first films at the University of Québec in Montréal, Laurent Déry-Lauzier has always been interested in stories of isolation, may they be urban or rural, collective or personal. Their first animated short film Catatonie was part of the official selection of many festivals, of which the Sommets du Cinéma d’Animation de Montréal, while their most recent film, Les Marcheuses, started its festival run this year with the Best Student Film Award at the Rendez-Vous Québec Cinéma 2023.
