Rosso Films International was founded in 2015 by Filmmakers Stefano Da Frè & Laura Pellegrini. It has Offices in New York City & Montreal. Its Motto is "To make films about good people who do bad things," because that is all of us. Stefano Da Frè & Laura Pellegrini move forward each year with cutting edge political documentaries & narrative films with humanity at the forefront. Highlights include: a distribution deal for their first documentary entitled "The Girl Who Cannot Speak" sold to NBC Universal, available on NBC.com in 2018. In 2018, they were recognized by the Cannes Film Festival with the "Coup de Foudre" & "Coup de Coeur" distinctions in the Short Film Category. They have had international press publications from the Aspen Times, Variety, Hollywood Reporter, MSNBC, LA PRESS ( French- Canadian Publication), Irish Times & Le Devoir ( Quebec City), just to name a few. They were exclusively featured on October 12th, on MSNBC on "Andrea Mitchell Reports" for their dynamic social documentary work. Their upcoming feature "The Secret Dream" will feature Ewan McGregor's Daughter, Clara McGregor, as a lead role in the film about a Blind Painter who recovers his humanity through a mystery dream.
