Filmmaker Laura Kavanagh has 10 years’ experience working in key roles for independent production companies and studios. In 2018 she wrote and directed the short film No Place which premiered at the 2019 Dublin International Film Festival. The short was selected in competition at festivals at home and abroad and received a runner-up prize for Best Short at the WFT Ireland showcase in 2019 as well as a Best Director nomination at the Underwire Film Festival.
