Bio: Director Lakshika Serasinhe moved to Galway Ireland at the age of 10 from Sri Lanka. He Studied Digital media design at the University of Limerick in search of what media he should concentrate focusing on. Upon having a lot of interest in film and video technology during his time at university he chose to pursue a career in video production. Upon graduation, he started being a freelancer in video production. Which ranged from directing, corporate video, cinematography, camera operator, editing, DIT, and photography. His main Career goal is to direct a feature film in the future. Lakshika Serasinhe is a Galway based filmmaker and cinematographer. After moving to Ireland from Srilanka at the age of 10, he was introduced to George Lucas and James Cameron, whose films instilled in him a childlike wonder and interest in filmmaking. Upon pursuing a degree in Digital Media Design at the University of Limerick, he combined his creative vision with a technological skillset. He is passionate about telling a story by weaving together a carefully curated collection of moving pictures.
