Juri Krutii is an up and coming screenwriter and director from Estonia. Influenced by film theory and cinema of immersion, he strives to create culturally relevant and visually compelling work that establishes a dialogue with the viewer. His debut short film Eudaimonia premiered at Glasgow Short Film Festival, in 2018 as a part of National Competition and since then has traveled through various festivals around UK and US. His most recent Estonian Film Institute funded short film Keyhole is set to start its festival circuit in 2023. Additionally, Juri contributes as an assistant director on various narrative and commercial projects across Europe.
