T-Port Partner: future frames – presented by european film promotion
Júlia Coldwell Serra is a director and screenwriter, graduated in Directing from the Catalonia Film and Audiovisual School (ESCAC) with a full scholarship. During her studies, she directed several fiction and non-fiction projects, including NINGÚ BORDA (NOBODY BARKS, 2025), the project with which she graduated from the Master’s program in Directing. The short film premiered at SEMINCI Valladolid and has continued its journey at festivals such as Busan (Grand Prix winner), 2ANNAS Riga (Best Fiction Film), Brussels Short Film Festival (Grand Prix & Youth Jury Prize), Clermont-Ferrand, Karlovy Vary, Krakow, BAFICI… It is also part of Catalan Films’ Shortcat 2026 program. Júlia’s work focuses on the use of comedy and the absurd as tools to explore contemporary social issues. She is currently developing a short film and her first feature film.
