Joshua Neubert (1994) is a German filmmaker who grew up in Tanzania. In 2020, he enrolled in the Fiction Directing program at Filmacademy Baden-Wuerttemberg. He has directed films in Germany, Tanzania and the US; his short GRANICA was shortlisted at the Student BAFTAs 2023 and his short MAJINI was nominated for the German Short Film Award 2025. Joshua is currently in development of his debut feature film.
