Irem Schwarz is a film editor, media scientist and atheist. She completed her studies in Theater and Media Science, Psychology and Sociology at the FAU Erlangen-Nuremberg and Montage at the Film University Babelsberg KONRAD WOLF with a Master's degree. The individual in society and the extraordinary in everyday life are recurring questions in her artistic research. Her documentary short film Lower Ambitions about the enemy image of the unemployed in the German talk shows of the 90s won several awards and was part of the short film program Short Export 2022.
