Over the course of my filmmaking career, I believe that a few themes arise. My body of work delves into profound human experiences, often highlighting the absurdities within them. In 'Buried in Memory', I portray an elderly man's raw grief through an unconventional, primal, canine funeral ceremony, exploring themes of loss and the human-animal connection. 'Separation' examines the lingering pain of a stillbirth on a separated couple, showcasing how unresolved emotions can lead to tragic outcomes, while also hinting at the possibility of alternate realities through forgiveness. In 'God Willing', I used satire to question faith and divine intervention, presenting a narrative where trivial wishes and profound desires collide, leading to unforeseen consequences. 'The Last Feast' is a satirical take on toxic masculinity and the chaos behind media production, where ego clashes and commercial illusions spiral into absurd, unchecked, and violent mayhem. Collectively, my films navigate the complexities of life and death, human relationships, and the often-blurry line between the mundane and the extraordinary.
