Gabriel Bihina Arrahnio is a German-Cameroonian filmmaker based in Berlin, with a BA in Directing at the Film University Babelsberg, Gabriel has already made significant strides in his career, showcasing his dedication and versatility as a filmmaker. Starting as a commercial director and winning the Young directors awards for his short film "Shame", Gabriel then Succesfully switched to film school and expanded his portfolio by directing two TV series. He helmed a documentary series for RTL Plus, as well as a fictional series for ZDF- Neo, demonstrating his ability to navigate both non-fictional and narrative storytelling. His short films have also earned widespread recognition, screening at acclaimed festivals such as BFI Flare, Aesthetica Short Film Festival, Clermont-Ferrand, Interfilm Berlin and many others. Among his works, "I Was Never Really Here" stands out, having been nominated for the German Short Film Awards and winning multiple accolades during its run across international festivals. Now, Gabriel is channeling his passion and experience into the development of his debut feature film.
