Bio: Francesco Pereira (2000, Madrid), born in Spain to an Italian mother and a Spanish father, moved to Switzerland at 10. At the age of 14, he made his first short film, which was screened at the Schweizer Jugendfilmtage. From that moment on, he decided to further explore the potential of cinematic poetry. Currently, he is graduating in film directing at the International Conservatory of Audiovisual Sciences at Locarno. “Jaima” is his first film.
