Felix Bartke (*1995) lives and works in Cologne, Germany. In 2025, he received his diploma with honors at the Academy of Media Arts Cologne at the interface of film and visual arts with Prof. Matthias Müller, Prof. Pia Marais, Prof. Melissa de Raaf and Prof. Alejandro Bachmann. His experimental documentaries “Cruiser” (2022), “Herkules” (2023) and "Shawano" (2025) premiered at the International Short Film Festival Oberhausen and were shown internationally at festivals, in exhibitions and on TV. He has been a scholarship holder of the German National Academic Foundation in the field of visual arts. In his experimental documentaries, which make use of various film formats and materials, he deals with the narratology of cinema, constructions of masculinity and class discourses.
