I want our society to reflect on itself in order to be able to build a brighter future. And I want this process to be fun. Which is why I'm dedicated to telling playful stories in unique, surprising settings. I want to tell stories about humans without using humans, because this distance makes it easy to connect and bond with on-screen characters. If we identify as them, we can hopefully learn from their mistakes. And you bet I force my film characters to make a painful lot of mistakes.

After following his interest in graphics design and videography, David studied live-action filmmaking with a focus on cinematography and film editing. He worked on dozens of productions in various roles from DP to lighting technician on set, and started working as a colorist, visual effects artist and 3D generalist on commercials, documentaries, and museum exhibitions like VR experiences. Drawn to animated films, he started making his own short films in 3D and began working for animation studios as layout and lighting artist. He studied a master in animation for film and games and has been creating games and short films in 3D ever since.
