Christoph Mushayija Rath was born in Gatagara, Rwanda in 1985. After high school in Germany, he lived in Guinea and Senegal in West Africa where he worked as a freelance photographer and filmmaker. Back in Germany he went to the ad agency Saatchi & Saatchi as an Art Buyer. He is currently studying directing at the DFFB in Berlin.
