Most of the time I am drawn to topics and stories about identity shaped by memory and its loss or manipulation, societal violence made invisible, body autonomy, experiences that are misunderstood or hard to put into words, feeling in-between, the oppression created by the binary organization of the world. I believe film can be a way to make others get closer to one's interior world beyond what is spoken- to get to know each other more deeply.
