Bar Misochnik is an Israeli filmmaker and actress. She recently graduated with highest honors from the Minshar School of the Arts film program. Bar recently starred in a leading role in the series 'Martin Scorsese Presents: The Saints', following her work in several acclaimed international and Israeli television series, including the award-winning 'Shtisel'. A multi-disciplinary creator, Bar writes, directs, films, and edits her own work. Her distinctive voice has gained industry recognition, with her projects winning prestigious pitching competitions at the Haifa International Film Festival, Cinema South Festival, and the Tel Aviv International Documentary Film Festival. Most recently, her documentary film 'Hard to Notice' (which she directed, filmed, produced, and edited) won the Best Editing award at the Oscar-qualifying Docaviv International Film Festival. Additionally, her short narrative film 'I Once Saw a Train Passing By' (which she wrote, directed, and starred in) made its world premiere in the official competition at the Jerusalem International Film Festival.
