Our emphasis in this Bachelor’s degree is on building an individual artistic voice, providing an academic basis, while also establishing solid, respectful collaboration skills that recognize the contributions of all crew and cast in the creative process. Training in a variety of crew positions (cinematography, lighting, editing, sound design, screenwriting, directing, producing, production design) supports their development as well-rounded auteurs/audiovisual artists who understand the whole process of filmmaking. Industry training includes funding, pitching, and distribution. After three years, they should be prepared to work as a freelancer in an aspect of the film industry, as well as create their own artistic projects.

Creative Production MA (Film)
Our emphasis in this Master’s degree is on creative, practice-based artistic research by exposing students to theoretical and practical inquiry-led experimentation as a means to foster their artistic development and refinement. Students define their own individual creative audiovisual projects and are supported by their peer group, and through supervision and guidance from tutors, whilst developing their artistic practice, professional skills and critical thinking at a postgraduate level. Through considering the audiovisual medium as a means of communication and expression, students are exposed to various forms  (short and long form cinema, installations, musical videos, and audiovisual performance, et. al) in order to provoke inquiry and investigation into their own creative practice.
