I like to focus on the inner worlds of children and the lived experiences of women, often exploring the blurred boundaries between memory and imagination—those moments where it becomes impossible to tell one from the other. I’m drawn to landscapes, communities, and people who are slowly disappearing, using cinema as a way to preserve what is fragile and fading. Nostalgia is a constant thread in my storytelling, shaping the emotional tone of my films and guiding my search for what lingers in the spaces between past and present.
