Tom is a Director & Writer who started his trade in theatre. Tom trained at Fourth Monkey Theatre School in London before moving behind the camera. Together with Jacob Taylor-Kipping, he co. directed the short film ‘Take Me To The Waves’; which went on to win Best Short Film at Savannah Film Festival and received further awards and nominations. Following this success, Tom went to the University of Westminster to complete a B.A. in Contemporary Media. During his final years and under COVID lockdown, he wrote, filmed, produced and starred in his self made graduation film ‘The Pale Blue Light.’ During the Lockdown, he got together with his friend and housemate Sophie and worked on various screenplays, with one turning into the film project ‘Tin Cans.’ While Tom usually leans to heavier genres and themes, Tom finds an interesting area of exploration of isolation, uncertainty and our relationship with our immediate space, during the challenges of COVID
