As a filmmaker, I’m drawn to stories in which private crises unfold as a result or reflection of broader social dynamics. Since my time at film school, I’ve been inspired by Dogma 95 and its commitment to authentic, unpretentious storytelling — both in form and content. I focus on precarious situations, profound crises, and ambivalent emotional states often tied to psychological strain. My films seek a balanced interplay of empathy and reconciliation, realism and poetry, defiance and humor.
