Nadja Bobyleva was born in Moscow in 1983. She attended the art and theater academy “Klass-Center” at the age of seven. Nadja moved to Germany at the age of nine. In the year 2000 she gave her acting debut with the feature "Engel & Joe", which subsequently led to numerous film and television offers. After her acting studies at the University of Music and Theater in Hanover, she completed a year of residency at the State Theatre Arts Academy in St. Petersburg. In the same year, she received the Günter Strack Television Award for her performance as Klara in “Getting a Life”. She then moved to Los Angeles, where she worked as an actress and director at the theater “Schkapf". During this time she worked with Steven Spielberg and was the lead in the web series “The Show”, produced by Luc Besson. After a few short films, she made her directorial debut with “Father. Mother. Me," a biographical documentary that premiered at the "International Women's Film Festival" in Dortmund. Her film "Kintsugi" was represented and awarded at numerous international festivals.
