Works on

I’m drawn to human fragility, unspoken emotions, and the quiet moments when something shifts inside a person. I often explore solitude, childhood, and the silent struggle to find connection in a world that doesn’t always notice. My work is driven by a desire to capture invisible choices — those that may seem small, but hold the power to transform a life.

Matteo VIcentini Orgnani Born and raised in Rome, I grew up in a family of artists, which naturally led me to develop a strong passion for storytelling and cinema. I studied at Officina delle Arti Pier Paolo Pasolini, where I honed my filmmaking skills and deepened my understanding of visual storytelling and narrative structure. Over the years, I have worked on various film projects, including my feature film "Non chiudete quella porta" Don't Close the Door, produced and distributed by Cinecittà. I have independently produced three short films, one of which is set for distribution in France. I am committed to continuing my exploration of unique perspectives, blending personal and universal themes. Currently based in Luxembourg, I am actively working as a filmmaker on both commercial and independent projects. Enclosed with my application, you will find my short film I fiori non hanno le scarpe (Flowers Wear No Shoes), which reflects my approach to cinema—blending poetic imagery with a deep exploration of human emotions. Thank you
