Across both fiction and documentary, her films examine the fragility and resilience of individuals confronting personal and collective crises.

Lilli Pink is a filmmaker from Berlin. Her work has been recognized at numerous festivals. bauchgefühl (2021) premiered at the Fünf Seen Film Festival and received several distinctions, including the Federal Festival Junger Film Newcomer Award. The five-part documentary series words & weapons (2022) was awarded with the European Newspaper Award and the Special Prize of the Sir-Greene Foundation. Trained in journalism for both print and television, Lilli brings a sharp intuition for complex narratives to her work. For the past 8 years, she has been working as a Script Supervisor and Assistant Director on various film and theatre productions, as well as a Script Assistant in development, for companies like DARK WAYS, UFA, and X Filme. When she’s not writing or making films, she loves to dance, read, sing, play the piano, and DJ under her alias, lilli violett.
