I was born in Naples on December 27th 1992, I moved to Bologna to study Dams cinema, graduating in 2016 in History and methodology of film criticism with a thesis entitled La dimensione nichilista della cinematografia di Marco Ferreri (The nihilist dimension of Marco Ferreri's cinematography) with a filmic and proxemic analysis of three of his films. Partly experimental work with a subjective analysis of Dillinger is Dead, The Bitch, The Last Woman. I then graduated from the Rosencrantz & Guildenstern Organic School of Cinematography in Bologna, presenting a short film I wrote and directed, Écoutez-moi. During the school, I worked on the sets of 16 other short films. In October 2019, I graduated from the Carlo Mazzacurati Level I Master's Degree in Screenwriting at the University of Padua, followed by Franco Bernini and Marco Pettenello, where, together with Daniele Acerra and Simona Franco, I am developing the subject and treatment of the feature film Fratelli di sangue. In June 2022, on the other hand, I concluded the course begun a year earlier of advanced training in screenwriting by Marco Bellocchio's Fondazione Fare Cinema, where with two colleagues we are working on the treatment of a feature film, The Midnight, supervised by Bruno Oliviero and Valia Santella. Beyond Écoutez-moi I wrote and directed the short film Sensei ni rei. I shot it in June in Rome in 2022. With the screenplay I had won the Luci dalla periferia call for entries, an artistic residency organized by the association "MotoreAzione!" with the aim of telling the story of the Roman suburbs. The short film, acquired by Son of a Pitch, began its festival life. Since April 2024 it has been acquired by WeShort. Instead, in June 2023 I directed Checkmate, a 35 mm Kodak short film. The screenplay was selected by Terre di Cinema - Catania. Its Italian premiere was at FLIGHT - Genoa International Film Festival (October 15-19, 2024). While in Catania, I worked as 1AD for a French director, script supervisor for a Canadian director, and was 2AD and script supervisor for an Israeli director and an American director. Finally in November 2023 I directed A father and a son in Tirana. With the screenplay I was selected by AR Production for the Balkan's Gate project. The short film was selected for the Co-pro Short Film Market of the Omladinski Film Festival in Sarajevo held in late July 2024. I am working on others short film projects and writing the first feature films, Bairro alto.
