I studied cinema in Bologna, taking a BA in History and Methodology of Film Criticism with a thesis entitled “The Nihilistic Dimension of Marco Ferreri’s Cinema”, and a MA in Screenwriting. I took part in the Advanced Course in Screenwriting at Marco Bellocchio’s Fondazione Fare Cinema, with mentors Bruno Oliviero and Valia Santella (Ariaferma). I am the author of Sensei ni rei (2023), presented in Italy, Slovenia, and Spain (Madrid), and of Checkmate (2024), shot on 35mm Kodak film and screened in Italy, Serbia, and Germany (Berlin). I shot a short movie in Albania too, A Father and a Son (2024). This past December I shot in Patagonia my new short movie, Stones, with the artistic supervsion of Paolo Sorrentino. I work as a script editor and script consultant, and in Italy as a 1st AD or 2nd AD. I serve as a senior film programmer for the Figari ISFF, and attended for the industry activities: OFF CoPro Market in Sarajevo, Vilnius ISFF, Vienna Shorts, Bucharest IEFF, Clermont-Ferrand. I live between Berlin and Krakow.
