The main themes in my work explore communication in relationships, focusing on how peoplenavigate and shape these dynamics. I examine how ingrained traits of masculinity influence relationships, often in ways that go unspoken. My work deconstructs relationships, questioning their meaning to individuals and the role societal norms play in shaping our connections.

Jose Trujillo is a Latin American film director & producer based out of Miami, Florida. Jose is a director at InnerCat Films creating music videos and documentaries for renowned international artists. He has produced feature film Temple in the Palms (2023) and is an associate producer on the documentary Romeo Santos: King of Bachata (2021), nominated for a Latin Grammy for Best Long Form Music Video. A cinephile at his core, Jose learned the art of filmmaking through watching classic Hollywood films, always striving to create films that incorporate elements from these movies that are ingrained in him - such is the case with his directorial debut Let Sleeping Dogs Lie (2024).
