Directors' statement: I wanted to make a movie about the pain of adolescence and focus on the parenting experience of an adolescent child. As a psychologist who works with parents, and also from my personal story, I know that one of the greatest challenges parents face in their parenthood is to let go, to adapt to the changing character of their child, to allow him to go further and further away. I wanted the movie to speak about this subject in a universal emotional language, and that is why it was important for me to keep it without dialogue and to express the closed reality of mother and daughter, a world that during the movie is being destroyed, being changed, and takes on a new form.
