Ilya Tilkin is a seasoned composer, poet, director, and award-winning screenwriter. Graduated from the St. Petersburg Conservatory but turned to Television and created more than 15 documentaries. Worked for several years as a Chef Director of one of the TV branches, then proceeded his career in cinema and wrote over 30 top-rated series and movies. One of these - ’Stalingrad’ was on long-list for the Oscar and broke a domestic box office record. For now, Ilya is living in Israel and continuing his career as a director. ‘Hold Me Tightly’ is his second narrative short.
