Guy Hamiel (born 1995) is a filmmaker based in Tel Aviv who will soon graduate from TAU. Guy's work uses a minimalist perspective to explore the intimacy of relationships through everyday moments. In 2024, he was the director of photography (DOP) for two short films at the IFA Masterclass, directed by Ruben Ostlund and guided by Andrey Zvyagintsev. In 2023, he directed the Israeli competition at TISFF (Tel Aviv International Student Film Festival). He was the location and production manager for "The Vanishing Soldier," an official selection of the Locarno film festival and “Come Close by Tom Nesher, a Tribeca debut feature film winner.
