Fitore Muzaqi, born in Kosovo, works as a screenwriter and director based between Cologne and Berlin. In 2025, she was awarded the prestigious Wim Wenders Fellowship for her series project AMICA. Her short film TURTLE & ALBION celebrated its world premiere at the Hof International Film Festival in 2025. She has just completed her short film “Geschmacklos, das Leben / Tasteless Life” and is working on her debut feature film. With the documentary series "Meine Narbe", she and her team at WDR COSMO won the 2022 CIVIS Media Prize. Bachelor’s degree in Literature, Culture, Media and Social Sciences from the University of Siegen. Master’s degree in Communication Arts – Narrative Environments from the Braunschweig University of Art (HBK). Since 2017, she has been working as a writer, director and creative producer for WDR and various production companies. In 2023, she completed her Master’s in Serial Storytelling at the International Film School Cologne (ifs).
