Elena Walter has a Bachelor of Arts in film production and a Master of Arts in film. In 2016 she founded the creative duo "Blickfänger" together with filmmaker Emanuel Fusillo. Elena works as a director, auteur filmmaker and creative producer. She is inspired by stories about people who want to emancipate themselves in a world of personal contradictions and dystopias. The protagonists in her (cinematic) stories are plagued by nightmares, crisis situations and psychological challenges and must deal with themselves in relation to reality again and again. The spectrum of her projects covers a wide range of formats, from classic short films to digital series and VR experiences. Since 2022, she has been a certified Green Consultant Film and TV to use sustainable forms of production in her projects and incorporate "green storytelling" when writing screenplays.
