We have grown accustomed to receiving a pre edited reality, to the tension that now exists—almost by default—between facts and truth in the digital age. A question echoes in every viewer’s mind: Is the story before me the unvarnished truth, or is it tailored to fit an agenda? In an era of fake news and artificial intelligence—when we rely on computers more than on human touch—I chose to stage a charged encounter between two people as a way to re examine the conversations we hold and the ways we both consume and manufacture “truth.”
