Charlotte Marie Peters is a multidisciplinary artist and filmmaker based between Germany and Israel. With a background in theater and performance, her work explores themes of memory, social inequality, and spatial storytelling. Currently pursuing an MFA in Documentary Filmmaking at Tel Aviv University, Charlotte combines her academic research in social geography with a poetic visual language to create films that bridge the personal and political. She has collaborated across disciplines, staging performances such as Dementia (2023) and Lyrical Fragments of Sex Workers (2021), blending choreography, audio poetry, and activism. Charlotte’s artistic practice is deeply rooted in site-specific narratives and collective memory, often drawing on her training as a stage actress and puppeteer. Her latest short film, Void, Echo, Memory, continues her exploration of trauma and place through the lens of personal testimony and atmospheric visual storytelling.
