After spending her childhood in a French and Taiwanese household in Hong Kong, Charlotte Louis pursued artistic studies in Paris, first in interior and object design, then in graphic design and art direction. She starts her career in the audiovisual world after working as an art director at Division Global for commercial projects and music videos. Amongst the many projects she art directed, she also worked on Kanye West’s last music videos directed by Arnaud Bresson. Today she is directing her first short film featuring Denis Lavant and Phénix Brossard.
