I am particularly interested in the relationship between reality and its simulated counterparts, the role of control systems in shaping environments, and the blurring boundaries between material, social, and political space. My work often investigates how human presence—whether as spectator or actor—can disrupt, transform, or escape these constructed frameworks.

Camille Sauer is a visual artist, filmmaker, and composer, currently studying at Le Fresnoy – National Studio of Contemporary Arts and a graduate of the Beaux-Arts de Paris (2018). She develops interdisciplinary work combining cinema, music, moving images, installation, and digital arts. Her research explores simulation as a narrative tool, giving rise to interactive and immersive environments, conceived in red and black. She has collaborated with France Culture, received support from IRCAM, presented her films at Mac Val, and exhibited her work at the Nemo Biennale, CENTQUATRE Paris, Salon de Montrouge, and LaM – Lille Métropole Museum of Modern, Contemporary, and Outsider Art, on the occasion of the centenary of artist Joseph Beuys.
