The main themes of my work revolve around resilience, hope, and the pursuit of passion despite adversity. I focus on telling the stories of individuals who overcome obstacles to pursue what they love, highlighting their struggles, determination, and the transformative power of following one's dreams. My work aims to amplify voices that are often overlooked, celebrating the strength found in everyday people who find hope and purpose through their perseverance.

Badoor Jbara is a videographer, video editor, and documentary photographer with extensive experience since 2019. Badoor has directed, filmed, and edited numerous documentary films, corporate projects, and music videos, including notable works such as Insight, Via Dolorosa, and One Vision. Her projects have been showcased at prestigious festivals like Visions du Réel in Nyon, Switzerland, and the Haifa International Film Festival. In addition to freelance work, Badoor served as a Videography and Video Editing Instructor at Hadassah Academic College, mentoring students in the Department of Photographic Communication. Since 2022, she has been a full-time video editor at I24news, focusing on news and digital documentary. In addition participated in Canon Student Development Programme 2023, where she was selected as the sole representative from top national students. Her work has been featured in exhibitions like The Local Testimony and World Press Photo 2023. Badoor holds a degree in Photographic Communication from Hadassah College and additional certifications in video editing from Mentor College.
Personal Documentary: I was 28 when the news hit me at a time I least expected it. Two lines – that’s what appeared on the pregnancy test I took after missing my period for a few days. I never ruled out becoming a mother, but I certainly didn’t expect it to happen at this time, and definitely not in this place. A time when the country was at war, a war unlike any I had ever known. Tensions and doubts made me question – as an Arab creator – is this the place where I want to raise my future daughter?
