Anna Maria Ebert studied Philosophy, Film Studies and German Philology, as well as Art in a Global Context with a focus on Africa, at Freie Universität Berlin. Alongside her academic studies, she was part of filmArche e.V. and completed a semester at the Escuela de Cine in Uruguay.
