Angelika began her film career in London in 2012 with her award winning short film The Horse. Shortly after that she began experimenting with short films, music videos and art projects which brought a certain finesse and strength to her visual style as a director. She worked at the media company VICE & i-D where she briefly got into documentary filmmaking. Her documentary PAPPA was shortlisted for the Swedish Academy Awards in 2019.  2021 Angelika graduated from Stockholm University of The Arts and is currently on her second semester of Alma Script course. 2021 she received the Special Mention award from the Nordic Talent and a Wild Card development fund for her upcoming feature film, A Soviet Love Story. Angelika’s Graduation film (Catcave Hysteria) premiered at Clermont Ferrand short film festival in February 2022 and is a selected titles for this year’s Future Frames at KVIFF program. Currently Angelika is working on a film exhibition for The Nordic Museum which will be exhibited in 2022 and a Folklore Horror film The Braid which is bland to shoot summer 2023. In between fiction film work Angelika directs the occasional commercial.  With a sense of rhythm and a strong visual style, Angelika's films explore the boundaries between the ugly & the beautiful, pleasure & pain.  With craving for blood and always a unique style. The Braid will be Angelikas debut feature.
