Lada Egorova

Lada Egorova is a Russian-French writer-director who studied Film Directing at The University Paris 8 then moved to Los Angeles for a film exchange program at the California State University. She made 12 short films which screened at over 40 festivals internationally and garnered several awards. Lada's most recent drama short film Papochka was selected in the French Ciclic screenwriting residency and received their production grant. More recently, her sci-fi series Journey to Origin received a post-production grant from the CSULA Entertainment Alliance in partnership with Starz Take the Lead, and she got selected with her grounded sci-fi feature project to the 2026 Indiewood Screenwriting Grant. Another one of Lada's features Remnant, a road-trip sci-fi film is being developed through the Blackmagic Collective Feature Film Lab. Lada has also been writing and directing genre series for the streaming platform Pocket Cinema that she cofounded.
