My work explores memory, communication, identity, family relationships and social issues. I am interested in how ordinary people respond to emotional pressure, loss, isolation and moral dilemmas, and how small moments can transform their lives.

Vaggelis Kalaitzis is a Greek director and screenwriter based in Cyprus. His work focuses on memory, identity, human relationships and social issues, exploring the emotional journeys of his characters through intimate and character-driven storytelling. His short film Break the Silence was an Official Selection of the Cyprus International Film Festival Golden Aphrodite and other international festivals. He is currently developing the short film The Lost Frequency and writing his first feature film, The Frequency of Forgetting.
