Gwenola Heck is an experimental animation director working primarily with 2D animation and stop motion. Drawn to tactile and haptic crafts, she also works in the field of production design. In 2025, she graduated from the Animationsinstitut at Filmakademie Baden-Württemberg. She is currently based in Leipzig, where she works as a production designer on stop-motion films produced by the Hidden Institute while developing her debut film, Melatonin in cooperation with the Blaue Pampelmuse.
