My work explores memory, migration, motherhood, the female body and the fragile border between private life and institutional structures. I am interested in how intimate experiences are shaped, interrupted or transformed by bureaucracy, displacement and social control. Through poetic cinema, autofiction, documentary fragments and staged visual compositions, I work with states of vulnerability, resistance, silence and inner transformation.

Viktoria Grudskaia is a filmmaker and visual artist based in Berlin. She studied at the Moscow School of New Cinema and is currently returning to the Berlin University of the Arts. Her work moves between poetic cinema, autofiction, documentary fragments and staged visual compositions. She is interested in the female body, memory, migration, motherhood, bureaucracy and the fragile border between intimacy and institutional violence. Her short film The Women of Obscure is a personal and experimental work that combines theatrical imagery with documentary traces of migration, courtrooms and supervised encounters, exploring how bureaucratic systems fracture private life and emotional reality.
