Alinur, a student filmmaker, creates a film about M, a mercenary who triggers an apocalypse. His gimmicks, meant to simulate destruction, unravel both the film and his sense of self. The outcome tests the sincerity of the film and his efforts—even the sincerity of this test might not be genuine.
