Florent Thys is a young Belgian filmmaker, born in Wavre, Belgium, in 1997. He moved to Brussels for his studies. In 2020, he began a gender transition and now identifies as a transgender man. He is interested in both fiction and documentary filmmaking, and is committed to creating films that address personal subjects within a broader reflection on society and the world around him. His work often explores themes related to gender identity, the relationship with the body, and how to navigate life outside of societal norms.
