Nandi Nastasja studied acting at the Athanor Akademie in Passau and then switched 2019 to the Theater Directing course at the Akademie für darstellende Kunst Baden-Württemberg. In 2021 she received the scholarship for the exchange program of the Ministry of Science and Culture Baden-Württemberg for the German-Namibian friendship and realized the short film "Stray Flower" in this context, which deals with the genocide of the Herero and Nama by the German colonial power in South West Africa .
