FLORIAN SCHMITZ, born in 1992 in Mönchengladbach, has been studying as a postgraduate student at the Academy of Media Art Cologne (KHM) since 2018. Active as a director and screenwriter, his films include his feature debut ARME RITTER (2018) and the short films NEW FACES (2019), FINTE (2020), LE PRÉ DU MAL (2021) and MATRATZEN (2022).
