Bio: Coline Confort is a writer and director based in Lausanne, Switzerland. She holds a Bachelor in filmmaking at ECAL, École cantonale d'art de Lausanne. Her diploma film “Imperial” was presented at several festivals, won the prize for the best school film at Internationale Kurzfilmtage Winterthur and was nominated in the category Best Graduation Film at the Swiss Film Prize 2022. Since then, she directed three short films (“10 Missed Calls”, “Scales Fell From Their Eyes”, "A Neutral Film") and a feature documentary, “The Acrobat’s Life”. She is a member of Artist Collective Revolta. Her work is based on a documentary approach, creating intense moments of truth and mise-en-scène, always starting from a long research work.
